The Montreal International Logistics Institute is a center of excellence working in all supply chain and transportation fields to support this activity sector and these firms, with the aim of contributing actively to the development of the Quebec economy.
It was created in September, 2006 as a College-level Center of Technology Transfer (CCTT) specializing in the logistics field and affiliated with Cégep André-Laurendeau. Since March, 2008, MILI is recognized among the 40 CCTT’s of the Trans-Tech network (http://www.reseautranstech.qc.ca).
MILI’s mission is to intervene in firms’ applied research and technical help activities in order to participate in the elaboration and realization of projects favouring innovation and technological integration. MILI’s team intervention missions extend all over Quebec and have also been present in Europe, in the Maghreb and in Western Africa.
The Montreal International Logistics Institute also maintains a technology watch in its specialization field and offers tools and information services. Its interventions aim at allowing firms to optimize their supply chain management processes by integrating technologies best suited for their needs and to support manpower specialization.
